Senegal at the center of the regional game

Senegal has just reached a major milestone in West African governance. Gathered at Freetown, the ECOWAS heads of state and government brought Bassirou Diomaye Faye à; the current presidency of the Conference of Heads of State. At the same time, Air Force General Birame Diop was arrested. officially designated President of the ECOWAS Commission for the 2026-2030 term. A double responsibility which places Dakar at the heart of regional balances.
